Gaia Mojo Ceramics

A Recovery Success Story from the Living Museum - come and visit her work at the Mittelalter Spektakel Lenz 20. -22. März 2026

For Nany, the Living Museum Wil is a place where she can nurture social connections and meet people without prejudice — a safe space where she can simply be herself.

Nany has been part of the Living Museum’s ceramics studio in Wil for two years. Before that, she had never had the opportunity to work with ceramics. She still clearly remembers her very first bowl and how she gradually taught herself to work with clay, step by step.

An important turning point was the Living Museum Wil Christmas Market in 2024. There, Nany was able to sell many of her works and experienced an overwhelmingly positive response. This experience gave her the courage to take the next step. One year later, she opened her own studio and officially became self-employed.

In her studio, Nany can further develop her technique and style and sell her ceramics beyond the Living Museum. Shortly afterwards, Gaia Mojo Ceramics was created — a body of work that connects earth and magic and reflects Nany’s roots in Mozambique. For her, this step represents freedom and self-determination.

“I am truly proud that I followed this path,” says Nany.
This year, Nany will be present at two markets:
– Mittelalter Lenz Spektakel, March 20–22, 2026
– Mittelalter Spektakel Anno 1291, July 31 – August 2, 2026

Visitors will be able to admire and purchase her ceramic works while experiencing the atmosphere of a medieval market.

Visits to her personal studio are possible by appointment.
