Charity Art exhibition: Wohin bleiben wir? Vol. 2
17. April at 6 pm at LIVING MUSEUM LICHTENSTEIG, Stadtbrücke 3, 9620 Lichtensteig, Switzerland
The LIVING MUSEUM LICHTENSTEIG is an open art and ceramics studio for anyone seeking creative expression. We provide a space for people with or without mental health challenges.
To ensure that the LIVING MUSEUM LICHTENSTEIG can continue its work, we are hosting our benefit exhibition “Where do we remain?” Vol. 2:
“At first glance, Where do we remain? may seem like an expression of existential anxiety and uncertainty—almost absurd. Yet the grammatical error touches, in a poetic way, the very foundations of existence. Through the collision of a directional shift and a verb of staying, a staggering unit of meaning emerges, opening up an unfamiliar semantic space. ‘Where do we remain’ can move neither forward nor backward, and yet it expresses a longing for something unknown.”
Artworks from the LIVING MUSEUM LICHTENSTEIG studio enter into dialogue with works by artists from the LIVING MUSEUM WIL, as well as from the curators’ artistic circles. This diverse constellation is further enriched by contributions from artists across Eastern Switzerland.
