The National Mad Pride 2022 will take place on Saturday, June 18, 2022 in Bern ; with a parade through the old town of Bern followed by a celebration on the Bundesplatz.

To raise awareness of mental illness and break down stubborn prejudices, the first “Mad Pride” was held in Toronto in 1993. Since then, interested parties and those affected around the world have come together annually to promote the removal of taboos and destigmatization.

The first Swiss Mad Pride 2019 in Geneva was a remarkable success and attracted over 1,000 participants. Thanks to the media response, the participants made the issue heard throughout Switzerland.
